What we process and why

When you visit the site, technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, requested pages and access times may be processed to deliver the pages, maintain security and diagnose faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you email or call us, we process the contact details and information you choose to provide to answer you and, where relevant, discuss or manage a professional relationship. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please avoid sending sensitive information through a general enquiry unless necessary.

Providers and external resources

The website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, operated by OpenAI, which may process technical visitor data to provide and secure the service on our behalf under the terms applicable to our account. Our email provider processes messages sent to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.

The site currently loads its typefaces through Google Fonts and an image of the Creative Europe MEDIA mark from a European Commission domain. Opening a page can therefore send technical request information, including your IP address, to those providers. The trailer on the homepage loads a YouTube player only when you choose to play it; YouTube may then receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Social network links are ordinary outbound links: those sites receive information when you choose to follow a link.

Cookies and analytics

Our website code does not include advertising pixels, audience analytics, embedded social feeds or a contact form, and we do not use optional tracking cookies for marketing. The YouTube player is activated only after a visitor clicks the trailer. The hosting service may use technical measures needed to deliver and protect the site. If these features change, we will update this notice and introduce consent controls where required.

Retention and international processing

We keep correspondence for the time needed to handle the enquiry or professional relationship, and longer where necessary for contractual, legal or dispute-related purposes. Technical data is retained by service providers for the periods applicable to operation, security and diagnostics of their services. We review the information we hold and delete it when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
